I swear, Ive never worn this much PINK in my life before,

except when I was a little girl perhaps..

I LOVE pink, OBB is all about PINK,

but on myself, it feels a bit weird..

And Im trying my hardest to pull this off..

Dearest Intan Ladyana has been wearing a lot of Old Blossom Box for her PRESS interviews for Adnan Sempit 2, and I just want to say a big massive thanks to her for all her support towards OBB since we knew each other. This girl is a true gem! Even gave me and my team premier tickets for Adnan Sempit, and we were seated just below the cast!

MASH UP & PRETTY IN HIJAB FREE STYLING CLASS

Super busy day, had a meeting with the awesome Levis team too. Today Im wearing: Hearts scarf given by Didiyana, leopard cardie bought in Kuching, OLDBLOSSOMBOX wolf dress & earrings, ONLYi leggings, Up wedges & Mr.P bag.

Scarf Styling will be demonstrated by my talented ex-intern Didiyana :)

To those that follows me on twitter, we'll be having a casual scarf & styling meet-up this Sunday at OBB, since it will be done at my shop (space is restricted), I could only take 45 girls per session.. Its a totally free session to promote that wearing hijab could be stylish, and as a meet-up session with us girls.. And slots were full on the day I tweeted (thank you soo much on the interest) and ofcourse to all the wonderful sponsors! PS: The girls joining will get goody bags :D Because its for a good cause, that is why we made it FREE, to those that wants to learn, make new friends, to the girls that are not wearing hijab yet, or those that have just recently started wearing this is a great platform.. Its semi-casual as we'll be doing this picnic style in the shop :)

So to those that will be coming (RSVPed for the event) pretty please bring: 1. inner scarf 2. long scarf and bawal 3. pins & brooches 4. earrings (if you have). To girls that arent wearing hijab, we'll be providing scarfs for you, but please bring anything stated above if you have them :) Soooo super excited!

On styling tips (fashion/clothing wise), Ill be able to assist you personally (if you need me) Do bring your own clothes which you aren't sure on 'how to wear' or 'how to mix & match' with what you already have..

And.... DRESS-UP! The lovely LISA Magazine team will be at the event to document it and snap pictures (horaaaaaaay) and I cant thank them enough for joining us this Sunday!

What a super busy day.. Quick lunch before my meeting with Zalora today, and Im happy to say that Old Blossom Box will be available at Zalora soon..

It feels soo good to be part of NST again, writing about fashion,

I loved my time there as an intern back in 2007,

and I became a contributor after internship ended,

but as I was working for Marie Claire after my degree,

I had to let NST go, and now 2012.. reunited!

Pretty hectic lately, tomorrow my article on Colour Blocking will be out in New Straits Times newspaper, I'm a contributor fashion writer for NST (again), hope you girls will get a copy of NST tomorrow. BANDAR MELAKA PART 1

STYLING DATIN NORJUMA FOR AJ BAWAL SCARF

When something like this happens to me, I really have to pinch myself hard.. To know its reality. That's how I felt when Vee from InTrend told me Datin Norjuma was looking for me. I have admired her for so long, so when I was asked to do a styling job by Datin Norjuma with her AJ Bawal Scarf for InTrend, ofcourse I jumped on the offer! I LOVE Norjuma (I got more shocked when she told me she reads my blog) I've only seen her in magazines and tv, and she's breathtakingly beautiful, so I was really nervous on our first meeting at my shop.. But, Datin Norjuma was beyond nice that it was easy to connect with her instantly..

So, after a few meetings, the shoot took place at InTrend studio, where the OBB team (me/Didi & Balqies) styled Datin Norjuma with her very own label AJ Bawal Scarf, I was more on styling the clothes to fit the scarfs and the total look, and Didi played a big role in styling all the scarfs on Datin Norjuma.

I super love this bawal's collection, all consisting of ombre tones..

The colours are all super yummy and lush!
