1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Yeay, finally pictures of Shila's red carpet in Old Blossom at the recent Shout Awards!

Helloooooo.... updated www.oldblossombox.blogspot.com already on the good news..., it's Old Blossom's 1 year anniversary... Syukur... and ofcourse, it's not all me... my MUM (for all the help and everything in between, helping me, always with me when im hauling things, and being soo suportive in everythg that I've decided to do), my first ever model, Edi (opening her own site soon too), and Kay... (for all the teman2 too, helping me post my parcels sometimes, driving me to & fro.... and all the times he teman's me at endless bazaars) and Wani, Baby & Nadia Pumpkin too (teaching me on how to deal with thgs when I wasnt so sure)!!!!!!! There's soo many people to thank for all the help & support.... Seriously, thank you everybody.... all the customers (yang dah jadi kawan pun mostly....), media from magazines to newspaper, 8TV, and Shila One In A Million and team for trusting & wearing Old Blossom (do look out for her new album styled by me, with pieces from Od Blossom too, coming out soon.....) Muaxs..... and many many thanks again...

My close friend during my fashion design years in UiTM, Wani is leaving for Penang (which Im soo bummed about) even tried talking her out of it endlessly... What's a better way to celebrate, than eating loadsa food!! As a surprise for Wani, .... Lyana, Nadia & Edi came too... Just when she thought it was a dinner date just with me... *Wani, Im gonna miss you truckloads, takde teman Bijou Bazaar dah, & teman jalan2, and teman pg makan..., so a trip to Penang is a must have for me...

Apart from that, happy 15th anniversary, Marie Claire Malaysia... though Im no longer with the magazine... This is the second last edition which still features my work, from the Fashion Ten Best page, Fashion Expresses pages, Fashion Legend on Sophia Loren, 101 styling pages, my Fall/Winter 10 Trend Report and Shopping pages. Not to forget the styling & wardrobe coordination for this year's selected women of style & substance of Marie Claire...

1 year working for the magazine was an eye opener in the Malaysian fashion industry, and I learnt alot. It was a dream come true. Flicking through magazines since I was young, this job was a dream come true. And I thank my Editor for taking me in, and seeing me pass the 'scarf clad girl' , and trusting me with the fashion section... And truthfully speaking, being a 'scarf clad girl' in the fashion industry wasn't easy, so thank you Mindy Teh for believing in me. Alhough it saddens me to part with it, I had to choose what I really wanted to do in the future, so I had to let go of this... may there be many happy years for Marie Claire & the team!

WARM WEDNESDAY

I've been really busy lately, despite not working a Marie Claire anymore... and sleep hours are still crazy! What's more, I'll be doing and styling Shila OIAM outfits for the Shout!Awards this Friday at Bukit Jalil... One for her red carpet and one for her performance on stage... It's basically a mix and match between pieces Im sewing, re-worked vintage & Old Blossom... So hopefully everything will work out nice...

The TV show Impian aired last night (11PM/TV3/Tuesday)... and Im going to be in the show as a guest for the second episode, which is next week (Yikes...) ...

Happy Thursday! I've been really busy this week, and yesterday, the shoot for Shila's album is finally done. All wardrobe pieces for Shila's album was used from OLD BLOSSOM and Topshop. I was a nervous wreck but everything went soo well! And i truly can't wait for the album to be released soon, so do check it out when it's out later (sometime soon)... And next, I'll be preparing for her Shout! Awards red carpet outfit and one for her performance on stage!

On Monday, me and Edi Lalurve... Shopping in Pavilion for Shila One In A Million.. The four of us (including Shila and her Mum) started at 10.30AM till 6.30PM, we had super fun girly outings and brought back tired feets too, and the shoot is taking place next Wednesday... and there's the Shout Awards, yeay!!
