ALEXIS LUNCH & STYLESHOT WITH GARBAGE LAPSAP

Had sooo much fun at lunch yesterday, gathering with all the girls, and Nicholas of Garbagelapsap was kind enough to come over to take style pictures of us :) And I want to thank Ami for these pictures, and me being silly, left my camera at home... So thank you Ami :)

Went to the luncheon with Nurul Cakap-cakap, and both of us had fits of laughter over the unfortunate events that hit us on the way back, didn't know where I parked my car, Nurul's maxi skirt got caught in the escalator (thanks soooo much to the Chinese woman that helped) and I lost my tol ticket! It just went missing in my car.. Me and Nurul had to stop over on the highway to look fr it.. but just couldn't find the huge ticket.. I had to pay RM44 for the lost ticket -_________-

But all the mishaps was pretty funny though... looking back at it..

I was super happy too that Joyce KinkyBlueFairy (below) finally made it to my shop, as she had never drove to Shah Alam before, it meant sooo much to me that she came..thanks for the birthday gift too :) and Joyce brought along Yishyene (above), a cute blogger I got to know through the Internet, and she lives and blogs from London... So, it was soo much fun to meet the cute Yishyene in person.. Thank you soo much for coming, hope you girls love everything you got :)

At work today at my shop, Im soo tired lately... so crocs and flip flops are my new BFFs.. My super Mum bought me this book today :)

I love how Susie explained on the negative comments bloggers sometimes get, including myself and some of my friends too.. Positive and sincere comments in a form of teguran are different to the ones where you get a a stranger deliberately trying to put you down... and in a way, I think harsh comments by an ANONYMOUS are because these type of person are either jealous in a way or insecure.. Im always insecure with myself too, but I don't let it get me, I try to think that it's okay not to be perfect all the time.. Because when you feel insecure of yourself, you start to be bitter.. And I also love this quote I read on Twitter.. (it goes something like this)

Dont feel insecure about yourself, because from the moment you do, you start to hate on people you don't even know...

Always,

HISTORY, KEDAH

Archeological site in Sungai Petani, Kedah..

I went to Kedah for a short trip, it was for a talk I had to do in UiTM Merbok, for Law Students/ Law Fest.. (no pictures yet, but Im hoping they'll email me soon) and I have to say, thank you sooo sooo much Muiz, & TEAM for handling it from Day 1 he called me, thank you to all the students that was there, making me feel soo soo welcomed and were soo nice and sweet! Thank youuu, although I spoke too fast, and was really nervous, I hope all of you had fun (the freebies, fashion game/show etc) ! Thank you soo soo much for having me, I was soo happy to be there...

Went to two historical site on the way to KL, this was taken at Lembah Bujang, Kedah.. I LOVE LOVE LOVE history, at some point of my life, I have always wanted to become an historian of some sort, or an archeologist.. I super love Egyptian/Roman/Victorian history, and History  was my fave subject in school and Uni.. it is also how my love for vintage came about actually... So maybe, just maybe.. one day, I can re-live this dream of mine..

With Hana.. and I super love (and deeply WANT) the MAYSAA floral chiffon jacket she has on! Not available yet... but soon! The very cute and FUN tea party was a session of girly gossips, drinking tea (an assortments of tea!), cakes, laughters, games (yes we played) and of course a pop up shop of the Maysaa line! And a sneak preview of the up and coming collection... Silly me, I was too excited I forgot to take my camera out! (but I'll post up on the item I bought and wore on the next entry)

Hana didn't just bring MAYSAA LONDON to Malaysia,

she brought the very English setting Tea Party too!

Instead of scones, we had currypuffs and popiahs :D
