FURLA CANDY BRISSIMA TOUR

Onelook at this iconic yet classic bag, everyone would know it's a FURLA Candy bag! This much loved Italian brand has been a hit, and there's no stopping for the Furla Candy, as they are now touring the Furla Candy Brissima Tour.

As you all know, I think Furla Candy bags are one of the most coveted handbags in Malaysia..

There was a "very big-do" on the event at Pavilion recently, and I was extremely lucky to be invited! As I posted on my instagram, the tour started on 5th-9th March! And it was an extremely fun to watch these Lim Kok Wing students work thier magic on the Furla Candy bags.

At the event though, Furla had 5 celebrated artists to decorate their Candy bags, here with the CEO of Furla Italy, actress Anzalna; international celebrity Yeo Yann Yann, singer (my fave) Zee Avi, little starlet Crystal Lee & actress Diana Danielle.

What I wore: Furla candy SS14!

Loved the one I choose, its classic but still makes a statement, I usually pick bright colours for my bag, but this time I wanted something neutral & timeless, a bag with says "hey, im serious" but at the same time "sophisticated & casual".

AN EVENING WITH ARIANI

As we all know, Ariani is one of Malaysia's leading hijab/scarf brand. I was lucky to be invited for the evening tea soiree which took place at Double Tree by Hilton. The grand affair was beautifully set, for a very important surprise by Galeri Ariani (which is by Jakel).

 

What surprise? apart from the gorgeous fashion show for the 2014 Collection of scarves, it was an unveiling of the new face for Galeri Ariani Ambassador & Galeri Ariani Icon (who could it be ?) :D

The 2014 collection was all about Glam Exclusive, all designed to cater the young professionals. It included gorgeous arrays of  Zafira Lace, Selendang Art Work, Selendang Stone, Selendang Embroidery, Selendang Lace, Tiara Chiffon 2 Layer and Selendang Aleeysa Lace.

Another collection was showcased, Chic Casual. Which has Zafira Printed, Selendang Embroidery, Selendang Printed Stone, Selendang Crumple and Aleesya Beaded Block Heavy amongst others. The pieces are stunning yet casual enough for daily wear.

The surprise that we were waiting for :D The new face of Galeri Ariani is TV personality Nurul Syuhada (taking over the face of Wardina who has been the ambassador of Galeri Ariani for 10 years) For me, the lovable Nurul Syuhada is a great face to represent Ariani, with a great personality, a great TV host, humble and overall beautiful inside & out.

Before we were 'surprised' by other great news. Galeri Ariani exclusively designed 3 scarves that was available for bidding (my first time ever witnessing a live bidding!!!) All were made with the highest quality of fabrics, french lace & stones. At the auction, each scarf was sold for RM5K, RM8K & RM10K (a whopping figure to be donated to charity)

One of the highlight of the event was Dato' Siti Nurhaliza belting a song! I think it was my first time ever seeing her singing live (and I still keep it dearly in my heart when I styled her hijab for InTrend cover last year..)

On to the final announcement, The Icon for Galeri Ariani, is none other than Dato' Siti Nurhaliza :) Here with the Marketing Director of Ariani Textiles Puan Norhana Sharkhan (Puan Nona)

During the press conference, it was announced that a collection of Siti Nurhaliza by Galeri Ariani scarves were to be released soon (she is wearing one of the designs), and a line of Siti Nurhaliza by Jakel apparels are in the works too.

MY CAT SABER & FANCY FEAST

A couple of months back, had a shoot for Womens Weekly magazine for Fancy Feast (the cat food), usually my cat Debab would be in shoots, so this time it was Saber's turn (short for Sabertooth and he's a Mainecoon)

It was a fun shoot, but since Saber isnt as camera-ready like Debab (my black Persian) it was quite hard to control this guy.. hehe..

MY HORSE PRINT CARDIGAN

I love everything whimsical, and I super LOVE this cardie from Instashop Lawalawalah :) With two events to attend, and not much time to change, I opted for the same top & scarf, and only changed the bottom & my bag to a clutch for evening.
