End of the event with Dian. My hands are full from gifts. I just cant thank enough for all the gifts I got from strangers, and from my new friends in Jakarta. I was so overwhelmed by it all. All the friendly girls who said hi, and everyone that came by to tell me that they read my blog. Thank you so much.

Sometimes, I just cant believe this is all true... coz for the longest time, I have always loved Indonesian fashion. Growing up, especially when the movie 'Ada Apa Dengan Cinta' came about, I have always wished I have Indonesian friends. And now, I do have Indonesian friends. I feel so lucky and blessed. Its like a dream come true. Thanks for being a part of it..

JAKARTA, INDONESIA PART 1

DAY 1. Hello Jakarta. Writing this post, makes me miss Jakarta soo much! Arrived on the 13th actually.. Ami, Shea & I flew to Jakarta together for the Sisterhood by Dian Pelangi event. At the airport, we were greeted by our LO, Kak Nita and Mas Tito (Dian's husband) and though I've been to Jakarta before, I experienced my first Jakarta super-jam on the highway.

Upon arriving, we headed straight to Plaza FX, and stayed at Harris Hotel, a trip sponsored by the Sisterhood by Dian Pelangi committee, and Dian Pelangi was our host. And she was a wonderful, wonderful host..

What I wore: H&M sequined jacket, Marios Schwab for TOPSHOP graphic tee, BERSHKA jeans, scraf from MUM, UP gold wedges.

The lovely Pipih of Caneron bag was waiting for us at the hotel lobby, and gave us a basket bag each! Mine was super super lovely, and I cant wait to wear it soon! Thank youuuuu sooo much Pipih & Caneron <3

A lovely store in FX. I love all the basics they sold, in multi cuts and colours.

 

And finally, we were going to meet Dina Tokio for dinner :D I was super excited, coz I love her youtube vids, and I was quite shy at first, but Dina was super fun & funny, just like her vids. That we all became friends with her quite quickly. Dian brought us to the rooftop for dinner with gorgeous scenery of Jakarta at night.

DAY2. At the Sisterhood event wee in the morning. I had to set up my Old Blossom Box booth :D So right after work duties, Shea & I took pictures at the set for the event.

What I wore: Scarf bought from Suri, OLD BLOSSOM BOX pinafore jumpsuit, SG.WANG white chain necklace, red necklace given by EDI from UK.

Noon. Changed into my 2nd outfit ( I promised myself to be amped up into dressing up at ALL occasions, coz I've been real lazy to dress up in KL ) Wearing: MANGO tribal scarf, floral top from SG.WANG, and I was really inspired by the Indonesian girls and fashion, that I got myself these baggy-pajama-like pants at the colourful shop, super love how comfy it is..

I ADORE them!

After the talkshow, the four of us attended the Press Conference with the Jakarta Press. It was unbelievable, sharing a spot with Dian and all that. I will cherish this forever.

I was interviewed by Trans7 (a tv channel in Indo), and was on Indonesian TV the next morning :O Though I missed it ofcourse. Ami found the youtube link, but I hate watching myself on TV, so I wouldn't post the link here. I don't really like watching myself on TV until it comes to a point that Ive actually never seen myself on TV for the past 2-3 years. My Mum watches it for me instead. Hehe..
