FROM UK & PARIS

Leaving me home alone for 2 weeks, my mum & little brother went to Europe for holiday, and yes, I shall confess, I cried like a baby (sampai bengkak mata)!!!! I also wanna go back to England!! I miss the air, the greasy fish & chips, car boot sales and the whole country side scene... (just to name a few...)

But my mum, being the special person that she is, she shopped for me (about anywhere she could) although they were more on the touristy kinda thing, moving up, down, east to west England and then Paris, my Mum tried o buy me things when ever she could.. And the ultimate tear-jerker was when she told me, she cried on the Eiffel Tower coz I wasn't there..

I only told my Mum to get the Union Jack jacket from Topshop.. and the others below are all her picks.. but mainly she shopped in Topshop for me... There's a whole load of other little tid bits too, like candies, beautiful dcorated biscuit tins, lot of t-shirts and stuffs like that... *Mama, I love you!!!

Around 15-20 designs of these eco-friendly 'I LOVE LONDON', 'I LOVE PARIS' etc bags...

Knowing my love for stationaries, Mum also got me these (and a LOT of pencil cases, bookmarks, pencils & rulers) Maybe coz Ill always be a kid to her, and not 25... hahhha

And moving along... my recent shoes, Balmain inspired studded & faux diamond glad heels from OrangeLittle and a brown leather heels from Aldo... *heart these babies...*

Today, work (it's our deadline in the office) so things get a little busy: OLD BLOSSOM polka dot bow blouse, THRIFTED scarf, ZARA gold belt, HF vintage like bag, MANGO jeans, studded OLD BLOSSOM bracelets and SIAM SQUARE sparkly wedges.

3 pairs of shoes I got from Bangkok at Siam Square! I heart them to death, bought them all in a span of half an hour, in 2 separate shops! A 'get-back' or repayment for my feets, because in the two days I was there, I only wore one ugly selipar! And brought along the most basic of clothes, coz I knew it wasn't going to be a 'holiday', more like a rushed 2 days of clothes hunting (and it was my first time there too..) Thanks to Eleanor, who made it happen, the three girls for making it a blast (even though we were close to zombie's walking..) Mook & Pop, Els Thai friends, and Naomi & Laura, for all the tips on BKK!

This is one of my fave heels, I bought it sometime ago (3 months back), but never got the chance to wear it. It's soo lovely & dainty that I'm too afraid to wear it, and get it dirty. So for now, it remains as an eye-pleaser inside the box!

Today! Lunch at Chawan in Bangsar with Rachel, then tea at Tea & Sympathy ofcoz! Ha..ha... My outfit for today: TEA&SYMPATHY tuxedo like top, chiffon ruffled blouse from OLD BLOSSOM BOX, MANGO jeans, ALDO bronze clutch, VINTAGE scarf & FRINGE heels...

Lovies, there will be updates for OLD BLOSSOM BOX this weekend, but Im not soo sure on what themes yet, so do check it out yah.., i might just make it a surprise. Last night's outing with my besties had to be cancelled coz I was unwell, all because my wisdom tooth is coming out. I went to the doctor's, and looks like I have to go for surgery to take one tooth out, and the cost is RM600 for one tooth! Its like daylight robbery! Or just paying RM600 for pain! I've opted out though, and will be on a hunt to look for a cheaper dentist, coz RM600 for a tooth is just too much. No fun...

But I'll be looking forward to this weekend with Lyana UBERLOVE, yeay... Will be going out on some projects from the wee hours! And another surprise came in the office from Rita Shum/Parkson, a card and Sonia Rykiel enamled No.3 keychain.

Since I missed Tod's fashion preview yesterday, coz I was ill.. Tomorrow morning I'll be off to Furla's fashion preview..

I've been rethinking about my future lately... and I guess I want to continue with my studies this year, and I think I'll be taking an MBA in Business Studies, something serious to fall back on.. (Thanks to those for their comments & input about business school), and I want to apply under UiTM again..
So hopefully I'll get 'in' next semester or will still have the mood to study come middle this year...
And, I miss sewing garments.. can't believe its been 2 semester without sewing any item of clothing, or designing... I might go back to that too, once I have the time to design & sew again..
Well, I hope 2009 will be a good year! There's soo many things I want to accomplish this year, and Im determine to make it happen step by step..
As for Old Blossom Box, I'll be adding a few projects there too.. and I want to thank everyone on thier support! All those SMS, comments & really nice emails... those are the things that keeps me going!Thank you again, especially the media,Bijou Bazaar, and all those blogs linking me.. I can't wait to start on one of the few things I wanted to do for Old Blossom... and will get to it before the end of Jan... Owh, this week's update shall be fun! One of my personal fave colours...

Yeay, Old Blossom Box will be updated on Saturday night, with the theme, First Date Blush! I wrote on the blog that there's gonna be a little surprise, well, it's actually studded hand made bows that I've made that will go in the store this Saturday night... My fingers are in sore pain from putting in the studs... And its all gold studs (the real tajam one...) which I personally love, love.. Gold studded headbands are coming soon too...
