SWEATER DAY

Today we had another Raya photoshoot at the shop.. Kay (my bf) as photographer (not in picture), and the Make Up Artist team Eriey & Syafieq Ayman, and our hijab model Hani.. Im excited about this scarf, coz we made scallop edges, and I also did chiffon florals on the side and edge of the scarf so you wont need any other accessory for your hijab, and I myself, cant wait to wear these during Raya.. Had dinner and meet up at Pavilion with Shea, Imane, Dian Pelangi and Natasha Hudson.. It was soo much fun to meet up again, chat over good food.. Tasha left early so we didnt have time to take a picture with her aside from the one on Instagram..

A TRIP TO YAYASAN RESTU ON WARISAN RASUL & AMBIYAK

Yesterday I had some educational and fun trip to Yayasan Restu, Section 10, Shah Alam. The Festival Warisan Rasul & Ambiyak is not to be missed, and below are some pics I managed to sneak to share with you.. Its such an eye opener too, and just to let you know, ticket prices are RM10 (proceeds will also go to Gaza)

Amazing... replica of Prophet Adam AS robe, the staff at Yayasan Restu had to use 800 meters of fabrics for this.. Its bigger than the building. hence they cant display it straight.. and below is the height difference between Prophet Adam and human beings now.. SubbahanAllah..

And for your information, Yayasan Restu has a college too, anyone interested in Islamic Arts, Khat and other subjects can drop by to inquire more on the college and ask for Miss Tasha

BAMBI LOVING

This morning before work & breakfast with my friends, I was prepared to take my outfit shoot here around my house. But the minute my bf turned the camera ON, the battery was dead :( Thank god for my Samsung S3, it was a good substitute, and I think the pictures turned up okey for a mobile camera.. Lets hope it wont make me lazy in lugging my DSLR around.. (since the phone does a fair job aswell)

 Last month, I did a collaboration with Sunsilk, which included two scarf tutorial for their facebook and a co-host for the TV programme, HIJABISTA TV. It was nerve wrecking, but fun too :) Next up will be my interview with Harian Metro next week about scarf, fashion and Sunsilk..

AIDIJUMA BAWAL SCARF

Hello..

It was a bright and sunny day yesterday, and I was at KLCC for work. To those that has followed the blog or my instagram would know I rarely wear 'bawal scarf' as my face is too round. But when I got to know the woman behind Aidijuma, Datin Norjuma (sometime last year), I just fell in love with bawal. Whats more fun about Aidijuma is that the bawal she has designed really is different from the others out there.

And.. its also a plus that I get to style Datin Norjuma for her shoots sometimes coz then Im able to 'play' with her Aidijuma bawal scarf and see for myself how it can be styled and donned in multiple ways.. As she has put it 'bawal pusing pakai', designing 1 bawal scarf that can be worn different ways with the different prints on each side (if you're confused, check the FB Aidijuma) 

So for all bawal lovers out there, this is a post dedicated for you, and also for the non bawal wearers, you should really try it out.. Boleh 'test drive' with mak punya bawal dulu at home :p

As for me, I wore the brand new Aidijuma Garden Bawal Scarf, and styled it as though I was donning a shawl, because of the floral print and yummy pastel colours, I added a mint green earring on the side.

As Im typing this, its a mellow Wednesday, and I have Zooey Deschanel's She & Him on the CD player. This was yesterday's outfit. Which my activities included buying fabrics, checking on my 2nd boutique (Old Blossom Box in Section7) and styling for Aidijuma at AnnasEaskey studio.
